MULTILANGUAGES
Language development starts from birth and continues developing within our social environment. Communication and Language development is the basis for all learning in our Preschool.

In our community, English and Spanish are very important languages. Learning languages promotes intercultural bridges and opens up a whole new world to the children. Children work with Spanish speaking teachers in a fun and dynamic way.

COLLABORATION WITH PARENTS
Our main goal for our Preschool is to be able to work hand in hand with our parents. Parental support for our program and different school activities is essential. Good communication between parents and teachers is key to having a successful preschool program.

OUR FOUNDATION
At Wood Rose Academy Preschool, we seek to foster loving, creative and confident minds with developmentally appropriate programs. Our dedicated and nurturing teachers strive to meet the needs of the whole child - social, emotional, cognitive, academic and spiritual. Wood Rose is a place where the children are accepted and loved, where they are encouraged to develop at their own pace, and where their laughter and play are cherished and their safety and well-being are the top priority.

I. Multi-Language with Spanish speaking
Languages and communication are the door to this world. Children who are exposed to different languages learn new languages in a more natural way and also are more open to learn about other cultures, including their own.

II. Appropriate educational training activities for each age from the beginning
In our programs for children, we encourage the children to learn through play using all their senses integrated with our academics. We also encourage the children's natural desire to learn, discover and use their own skills.
We are trained for the sensitive early childhood stages. Experience has shown that there are different ideal ages to learn how to write, walk, ride a bicycle, clean up etc. Thus we adjust and work with each individual child's development and recreational habits.

III. Comprehensive and Personal Training
A main element in our teaching philosophy is the attention to all the senses with a comprehensive teaching program as well as training that is based on the Christian vision of the human person's different aspects, including intellectual, human, spiritual, social and motor skills.

We are committed to these values and promote them within the context of teachings of the Catholic Church.

IV. Complementary Activities, Excursions, Outdoor Play, Activity Corners
Movement, outdoor play, experiences and new activities are a very important key to the child's development.

Also outdoor play allows the children to apply what they have already learned and allows them to make their own decisions. That is why we have designed activity centers so the children can choose between the options based on their interest.

When the children go out for field trips, they are able to understand many new things using their senses and broadening their horizons.
